The Love List Vol. 1

Welcome to The Love List, where you can find a roundup of all of the things I’ve been obsessing to my friends about! You’re in the inner circle now!

From entertainment to style to tech and productivity, you’ll find all the favorites right here each week.

Let’s get into it — shall we?

  1. J Crew Wide Leg Crop Jeans
These are SO incredibly flattering, and marked safe for my short gals! They come in a variety of washes and are pretty much the only jeans now that I wear. Yes, they’re that good.
  2. The That Sounds Fun with Annie F. Downs Podcast
This podcast is 100% a staple in my weeks, so of course I had to include it in the very first volume of The Love List! Annie has the best guests (Ben Rector, Emily Ley, Mary Kate Morrisey, & John Mark Comer — just to name a few!) and there is so much wisdom to be found in each episode!
  3. Refresh Brain Dump Journal from Cultivate What Matters
We are expected to keep far too many things in our brains and keep up with far too much. We’re also immersed in a digital world where there are a million things to keep track of online, so sometimes we just need to go a little analog. Enter, the Refresh Brain Dump Journal from Cultivate What Matters. It has three different sections/layouts to help you pull everything out of your brain and onto paper, and I love utilizing this for various aspects of life — work, personal life, photography, dreaming & brainstorming; all the things. It has seriously been my lifeline as of late to ensure I’m not dropping any of my (many) balls.
  4. Notion — (always, but especially for grad school these days)
I’ll be sharing so much more about Notion and how it integrates into nearly every part of my life, but for now, it’s been saving my life during grad school. I’ve built a Masters program hub, and it tracks all of my assignments, notes, resources & everything I could need all in one place — helping me during my program, but also for easy reference after a course has ended. More on Notion to come!
  5. Royal English Breakfast Tea Lattes
I can’t believe I’m saying this…but I’m not sure I even like coffee anymore? After being continuously disappointed by purchasing coffee out, I’ve returned back to my tried and true Royal English Breakfast Tea Lattes. They’re so easy to make at home!

Annnnd, that’s a wrap on this week’s love list! Let me know if you’re adding of these to your love list!

Until next time,

Rachel

Meet RACHEL

GET TO KNOW ME

I’m the kind of gal who loves a good system, keeps a well-curated list of favourites, and is the friend everyone comes to for a good planner recommendation. I care a lot about meaningful work, the people behind it, and living a life that actually feels as good as it looks.

Around here, you’ll find a mix of what I’m building, learning, and loving lately, along with a few thoughts, recommendations, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into how it all comes together.
